SHIPPING

ORDER DEADLINES
for items to arrive BEFORE the WINTER HOLIDAY please place your orders by
THURSDAY 19th December 2024 by 3pm

Postage dates during this time are as follows:
Tuesday 17th, Wednesday 18th, Thursday 19th, Friday 20th December.
Orders must be placed by 3pm on the PREVIOUS day

The shop is on holiday from 20/12/24 - 2/1/25. Orders can still be placed during this time but please be aware that any orders made after 3pm on 19/12/24 until 3pm on 1/1/25 will ship from Thursday 2nd January 2025

 

Unless otherwise stated on the item's page, all shipments are with Royal Mail using "Tracked 24 with Signature" = £5.30 (no charge for shipping where indicated on specific items marked 'free shipping included')

Gates of Vanitas is not liable for lost or stolen packages. Delivery times are the responsibility of the shipping company; Gates of Vanitas is not liable for any delays in delivery after transfer of the order to the shipping company. Gates of Vanitas will not be held responsible for additional charges incurred if packages are returned to Gates of Vanitas HQ due to customer errors in shipping addresses, customer absence, or package refusal.

RETURNS
Unfortunately we cannot accept returns, all sales are final. All items are carefully handmade and many pieces are unique items and made to order. Returns can only be accepted in the event of an item being faulty and any returns must be agreed in advance through email correspondence with Gates of Vanitas. Please get in touch if you have questions or concerns about your specific item and we will endeavor to resolve the issue.

DAMAGES
Please inspect your order upon receipt and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged or if you receive the wrong item, so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right for you.

 

FAQ's

What are the cut-off times for ordering?
Unless otherwise stated in occasional holiday / seasonal shipping variations on the website, the usual cut-off details are as follows:
Items are usually shipped two days per week, on Tuesday and Wednesday. To ensure that your item/s are shipped on those days, please place your order before either 3pm on Monday (for Tuesday shipping) or before 3pm on Tuesday (for Wednesday shipping)

Will you be shipping internationally in the future?
Yes, we currently offer UK only shipping however we will expand to international shipping from spring 2025.
